 TLC: The Learning Connection Expanded Learning Program

 
 

The Learning Connection (TLC) Program Offers:

  • Credentialed Intervention Teachers
  • A safe environment to have fun and enjoy friends after school.
  • Enrichment activities that reinforce skills learned during the regular school day.
  • Activities to build self-esteem and social skills.
  • Support for children in developing their unique talents and abilities.
  • Recreational activities.

 

 

Purpose

 

TLC provides homework support and enrichment programs for PUSD students at all K-6/8 and select middle schools. Programs are staffed with qualified after school personnel.

 

 

Days of Operation

 

The TLC Expanded Learning Program operates on a daily basis to coincide with the regular school calendar, and operates from the end of the school day until 6:00 p.m. Students participating in TLC are required to participate in all the components of the program.

  • Homework Support
  • Physical Fitness
  • Enrichment Activities

  

 

Enrollment

 
All eligible students from each participating school, from transitional kindergarten/kindergarten through sixth/eighth grade, have an opportunity to participate in the TLC program if there is space available at each school site. For more information, please reach out to your school's TLC site teacher.
